How to show up in Gila County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Gila County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Gila County Board of Supervisors
Watch this oneThis Board approved software that drafts police reports from body camera recordings. It arrived as a contract line, was approved, and cost less than a used pickup truck. If you want to see how these decisions actually get made, this is the room.
- When
- Regular meetings are typically the first and third Tuesday of the month. Work sessions are typically the last Tuesday. The county publishes a calendar for the year and the agenda portal is the reliable answer for any given week.
- Where
- Board of Supervisors' Hearing Room, Gila County Courthouse, 1400 East Ash Street, Globe, Arizona 85501.
- Remote
- The agendas say that one or more board members may take part by telephone or by interactive television video. That describes how supervisors attend, not how the public can. We have not found a published way for a resident to speak remotely, so assume you need to be in the room in Globe.
- Public comment
- The county's Board pages do not publish a public comment procedure, and we would rather tell you that than guess at one. Every agenda cites Arizona's open meeting law, A.R.S. section 38-431.01, which is what makes the meeting public. Ring the Clerk of the Board before you go and ask how to be heard on an item.

- Who to ask
- Clerk of the Board, Gila County Courthouse, (928) 425-3231. (checked )
Confirmed on the county's own Board of Supervisors page and its Clerk of the Board agenda page on 10 September 2026. The agendas themselves are published as web pages with their full text, so they can be read without downloading anything.

What this list does not cover yet
These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Gila County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.

Read what is already on the record for Gila County first. A resident who has read the contract changes the room.
