How to show up in Amador County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Amador County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Amador County Board of Supervisors
Watch this oneThis Board approved the Sheriff's Flock Safety contract in February 2025 as item 5.i, on the consent calendar. In August 2026 it took the program up again: a motion to cancel failed 2-3, and a motion to put the program on a regular agenda near the end of the contract passed 5-0. The chair said the original item probably should not have been on consent.

The county reorganised its website and the address its own research trail used for board agendas now returns a 404. Agendas are reached through the county-wide meetings page, filtered to the Board of Supervisors. Its agenda documents are served in a way our fetcher cannot read, so the public comment procedure and any per-speaker time limit are unconfirmed here. Minutes are not always posted promptly; when the Board reconsidered the camera contract in August 2026 the meeting video was the only record available for over a week.

What this list does not cover yet
These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Amador County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.
