How to show up in Fresno County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Fresno County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Fresno County Board of Supervisors
Watch this oneClovis and Fresno run a joint Organized Retail Theft Task Force whose 2024 memorandum of understanding, worth $6,068,700, carries an equipment schedule listing sixteen drones, fifteen GPS trackers and two covert vehicle-tracking subscriptions across two departments. No Fresno County Board agenda has been read by this project.
- When
- Tuesdays at 9:30 AM. The Board does not sit every Tuesday, so the Legistar calendar carries the dates.
- Where
- Hall of Records, Room 301, 2281 Tulare Street, Fresno, CA 93721
- Remote
- Meetings are streamed live. Comment can be given by phone after registering online, then dialling 559-860-0556 and entering meeting code 1595. A caller has to use the number they registered with, and stays muted until their turn.
- Public comment
- Two minutes per speaker on most items, with a maximum of ten minutes on any one topic, under the county's own administrative policy. The Board can change that at the meeting. Someone commenting in the room lines up at the podium when the period opens for that item and gives their name. Documents for the Board are handed to the Clerk at the time of the comment, and the county asks for ten copies.

- By email to ClerkBOS@fresnocountyca.gov, by fax on 559-600-1608, by post to the Clerk of the Board, 2281 Tulare Street, Room 301, Fresno, CA 93721, or delivered in person during business hours. Include the meeting date and agenda item number. Written comment has to arrive before the comment period on that item closes to be in the record.

The ten-minute cap per topic is the unusual rule here: past five speakers on an item, the Board has to shorten everyone or stop taking comment. Accessibility accommodations, including an ASL interpreter or braille materials, are arranged through the Clerk.
