How to show up in Mariposa County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Mariposa County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Mariposa County Board of Supervisors
Watch this oneMariposa County has no incorporated cities, so this board is the only general-purpose elected body in the county. Anything bought countywide is approved here.
- When
- The first three Tuesdays of every month at 9:00 AM. Special meetings are called as needed.
- Where
- Board Chambers, Mariposa County Government Center, 5100 Bullion Street, Mariposa, CA 95338
- Remote
- The county's meeting guide says meetings stream live over the internet and are recorded. It does not say whether someone watching the stream can comment, so the agenda for a given meeting is where to check that.
- Public comment
- Comment is taken on the consent agenda as a block before the single vote, and on each agendized item after the staff report and before the Board deliberates. Comment on items not on the agenda is limited to five minutes, and the Board cannot act on what is raised there.
- Written comment
- Written material goes to the Clerk as eight copies. The county recommends submitting it at least 24 hours before the meeting so the Board has time to read it.

The county's own 2026 Board Meeting Guide prints mariposacounty.org/bosagendas as the place to find agendas. That address redirects to the portal the county used before June 2023, which is now an archive. The current portal is the one linked here. Agendas for regular meetings are published the Thursday before the meeting.
