How to show up in Tehama County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Tehama County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Watch this oneNo surveillance decision by this Board has been read. It is the governing body for the Sheriff's Office and therefore where any equipment purchase or military equipment policy has to appear.

- Regularly each Tuesday at 9:00 AM.

- Board Chambers, 727 Oak Street, Red Bluff, CA 96080
- Remote
- The public can listen and comment by phone on 530-212-8376, conference code 933876, pressing star 5 to raise a hand when the item is called. Video and audio stream from the county's Legistar calendar. The county says the stream is a convenience and the meeting carries on through any disruption to it.
- Public comment
- A member of the public addresses the Board from the podium when the item is called. Three minutes each, with the comment period at the start of the meeting capped at twenty minutes in total; if more time is needed a second comment period runs at the end. The Board reserves the right to shorten any speaker or any item.

The deadline for getting an item onto the Board's agenda is 5:00 PM on the Wednesday thirteen days before the Tuesday meeting, which is the longest lead time we have found in California. The Board has adopted a public code of conduct, posted in the chambers and online.
