How to show up in Fremont County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Fremont County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Watch this oneThis Board buys the county's cameras, and it buys them inside other things. The camera and location system on the road fleet arrived in February 2026 in a list of trucks and trailers. The radar that monitors people in the jail's holding cells was approved in the same meeting as an elevator contract. The aerial photography contract is an Assessor's item. None of the three was debated. Watch the purchasing plans and the Assessor's and Sheriff's action items, not just anything with a camera word in the title.

The Board publishes nothing on the county website. The county's own Agendas page sends readers to a separate site, fremont.municipalcodeonline.com, for both the current record and everything before 2023, and the county's AgendaCenter carries only the Planning and Zoning, Golf Advisory and Snowmobile Advisory boards. The minutes there are full: they name who moved, who seconded and how the vote went, and they run back to 1981.

St. Anthony City Council
Watch this oneEvery surveillance device mapped in Fremont County stands in this city, and this Council is the body that opened the budget for the plate readers. It is also a Council that hears about its police department's largest purchases in department reports rather than voting on them: the five-year body and in-car camera price was read out under DEPARTMENT REPORTS with no motion. Read the department report at the end of every agenda, not only the action items.

The Council's agendas and minutes are on the city's Municipal Code Online site from 2017, where the minutes are unusually full: they record who moved, who seconded, the vote count, and the whole of each department report. The city website carries the same links.
