How to show up in Benton County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Benton County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Benton County Board of Commissioners
Watch this oneTwo things to watch here. The District Attorney's "AXON AI Technology" budget item, whose substance is not in the published record. And this Board's department head meetings, where Albany's police chief briefs commissioners on what is coming before it becomes a purchase.
- When
- Most often the first and third Tuesday of the month, usually starting at 9:00 AM. The Board also sits as several service district governing boards on the same days, and holds department head meetings, so the portal is the reliable answer.
- Where
- Kalapuya Building, 4500 SW Research Way, Corvallis, Oregon.
- Remote
- Agendas offer a Zoom video option alongside in-person attendance, and Zoom is a speaking option here rather than a watch-only stream.
- Public comment
- "Those wishing to speak should sign the Public Comment sign-in sheet or put their name in the Zoom chat." Individual comment may be limited to three minutes, and the county notes that time restrictions depend on the business before the Board, so the limit is not fixed.
- Written comment
- — not confirmed
We read this Board's record from 1 January 2026 onward. Earlier years exist in the same portal and are unread. Corvallis, the county's largest city, is not covered at all: its website would not serve us the file that states what automated readers may look at, so we did not fetch it, and the city's private-camera registry is unexamined as a result.

What this list does not cover yet
These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Benton County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.
