How to show up in Klamath County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Klamath County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Klamath County Board of Commissioners
Watch this oneBudget hearings are the ones to watch here. Plate readers entered this county's record not as a purchase request but as a revenue idea at a budget hearing, which is a different agenda item and a much easier one to miss.
- When
- Business meetings are usually held on a Wednesday, most often at 1:00 PM, with administrative meetings and budget hearings on other days and times. The portal is the reliable answer.
- Where
- Klamath County Government Center, 305 Main Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon. Business meetings are usually in Room 219 and administrative meetings in Room 214, and the agenda names the room.
- Remote
- Two different things, and the difference matters. Meetings are streamed on Klamath County Government Television, which is watch only. To give public comment remotely you join the Zoom meeting instead, by link or by a toll-free phone number, both printed on each agenda.
- Public comment
- Public comment is taken near the top of every business meeting. The county's own agendas say it plainly: to give public comment you may attend in person or join the meeting remotely over Zoom. We did not find a written time limit or sign-up rule in the meetings we read.
- Written comment
- — not confirmed
The county publishes eight categories of meeting records reaching back to 2018. We read two, the Board of Commissioners and Emergency Management, from July 2025 to August 2026, and read every document in that window. The city of Klamath Falls is a separate matter: its council's agenda system renders in JavaScript and serves our tools nothing, so the city record, which is where this county's plate readers are, is unread.

What this list does not cover yet
These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Klamath County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.

Read what is already on the record for Klamath County first. A resident who has read the contract changes the room.
