How to show up in Union County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Union County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

- Most often the first and third Wednesday of the month at 9:00 AM. Other Wednesdays appear regularly, so the meeting list is the reliable answer.

- Joseph Building Annex Conference Room, 1001 Fourth Street, Suite D, La Grande, Oregon 97850.
- Remote
- Agendas say "Zoom teleconference also available" and carry the link. Unlike most counties on this site, Union uses the same Zoom meeting room for its regular meetings rather than generating a new one each time, so the link on a recent agenda is usually the current one. The agenda for your meeting is still the last word.
- Public comment
- Public comment is taken at regular board meetings. We did not find a written time limit or sign-up rule for this body in the meetings we read.

The county's meeting list reaches back to 2008 and we read 2023 onward. The list is served inside a frame on the county's agendas page, which matters only if you are scripting against it: the page a browser shows you has the documents, and a naive fetch of the outer page does not.
