How to show up in Yamhill County

Watch this oneThe county's Axon contract came here as a sole source determination, which is a document type worth watching in its own right: it states in writing why no other vendor was considered, and in this county the answer reached back to the 1990s.

- Formal sessions are held at 10:00 AM. The portal is the reliable answer for which days, because the Board also holds informal sessions and work sessions on other dates.
- Where
- Room 32, Yamhill County Courthouse, 535 NE Fifth Street, McMinnville, Oregon 97128.
- Remote
- Formal sessions can be attended over Zoom, and are also streamed live on the Commissioners' YouTube channel. Zoom attendance is the one that lets you speak; a live stream is watch only.
- Public comment
- There is a public comment period at the beginning of the meeting, and you may also speak on a specific item by raising your hand after the Chair announces it. The county asks you to fill out a public comment card to indicate your intent to speak. Zoom attendees are asked for comment in the same way, using the "raise hand" function, and staff unmute the participant.

Everything here was read off the Board's own agendas and meeting notices, 2023 onward, in two of the portal's sixteen categories. One note about this host that is a matter for us rather than for a reader: it publishes Content-Signals preferences and names nine AI crawlers with a blanket refusal, while its general rule permits everyone else. We are none of the nine and we do not train on what we read, so we treated it as permission, and the reasoning is recorded in our research files.
