How to show up in Bexar County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Bexar County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Bexar County Commissioners Court
Watch this oneSheriff's Office technology reaches this Court mostly on the consent agenda. Plate reader subscriptions and the NEC facial recognition negotiation came under Purchasing, and Sheriff's Office invoices, including a Flock Safety invoice, come under the Sheriff's heading. The Axon body camera procurement was taken up as an individual item in August 2026.

- Usually every other Tuesday at 9 a.m., with worksessions and budget sessions between.
- Where
- Double-Height Courtroom, Room 2.01, second floor, Bexar County Courthouse, 100 Dolorosa, San Antonio, TX 78205.
- Remote
- Meetings are broadcast live and archived with an item index on the county's Commissioners Court Live Broadcast page. Speaking is in person.
- Public comment
- Anyone can speak for up to three minutes. Fill in a form as you enter the courtroom. Residents are called under the item for citizens who signed the register to speak, near the start of each regular meeting.

The Commissioners Court page links the agenda archive by year, the current agenda with its backup documents, and the video page. The agendas are scanned documents, so a browser's text search does not work in them. Each meeting's video page lists the items taken up, and recent ones include a transcript.

These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Bexar County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.
