How to show up in Collin County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Collin County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Watch this oneEvery county surveillance contract, donation and grant on this county's pages was approved here, and almost all of them on the consent agenda. Purchases arrive under the Purchasing, Public Works or Sheriff headings, often through a purchasing cooperative, and the fusion center's funding arrives as grant acceptances and budget items.
- When
- Regular meetings are generally held on Mondays at 1:30 PM. The agenda listing shows each meeting date, and special sessions and workshops are posted separately.
- Where
- Commissioners Courtroom, Jack Hatchell Administration Building, 4th Floor, 2300 Bloomdale Road, McKinney, TX 75071.
- Remote
- Past meetings are posted on the county's Court Videos page. Speaking is in person.
- Public comment
- Public comment on agenda items comes near the start of the meeting, and there is a second period for comments not related to the agenda. To speak, submit a properly completed Public Comment Form before the meeting starts. Each speaker is limited to three minutes.
- Written comment
- No written comment procedure is stated on the agenda.
The agendas page embeds a listing where you can pick a month and year or search past agendas. Each agenda item links its attachments, including the signed Court Order, memos, contracts and vendor quotes. The minutes for each meeting are a separate PDF in the same listing, usually posted a few weeks later.

What this list does not cover yet
These are the bodies we have confirmed, not every body in the county. Collin County has other commissions and committees, and other school and special districts, that we have not documented yet. Several of the county's own committees publish on the same county portal linked above.
