How to show up in Montgomery County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Montgomery County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Watch this oneEvery county surveillance purchase on this county's pages was approved here, and almost all of them on the consent agenda: the block of items the Court approves in one motion, without discussion. Plate readers, cameras and software arrive under Purchasing; the constables' grants and database agreements arrive under their own precinct headings; camera agreements in county road right of way arrive under the County Attorney.

- The Court's own minutes show regular sessions roughly twice a month, with special sessions in between. The weekday is not fixed, so check the county's agenda page rather than assuming one.

- The Commissioners Courtroom of the Alan B. Sadler Commissioners Court Building, 501 North Thompson, Conroe, Texas, which is where every docket read for this page records the Court convening.

- Each meeting has a citizens section keyed to numbered agenda items, and the minutes name each speaker and the item they spoke to. Speaking is tied to a noticed item: on 6 August 2026 the minutes record a resident being stopped because their remarks lacked a connection to one. The written procedure, any sign-up requirement and the time limit are published on the county's website and are not restated here.

The link above is the County Clerk's Commissioners' Court Minutes Search, which is a full-text search over every set of minutes the Court has, from September 1983 to the present. Type a vendor's name into it and it returns the meetings at which that vendor was approved, and each result opens the minutes with the item, the motion, the seconder and the result. Agendas for upcoming meetings are on the county's own website under Commissioner's Court, along with the scanned backup documents for each motion.
