How to show up in Tarrant County
Surveillance is approved by people who hold public meetings any resident can attend. This page lists the bodies that do that in Tarrant County, what we have confirmed about attending each one, and where each publishes its agendas.
We do not publish meeting dates. A schedule we cannot check often enough would eventually send someone to the wrong place on the wrong night. Each body below links to wherever it publishes its own agendas and schedule, and that is the copy to trust.

Tarrant County Commissioners Court
Watch this oneEvery county purchase on this county's pages was approved here, and most of them arrived on the consent agenda. Consent items are voted through in a single block with no separate discussion, so an item nobody pulls passes without anyone speaking to it. The Flock Safety agreement for the Sheriff's Office and three renewals of the covert camera contract all went through that way.
- When
- Tuesdays at 10:00 AM, on the dates the county's fiscal-year calendar sets. The calendar for the year to September 2026 marks fourteen court meeting dates, generally one or two a month. The posted calendar is the authority, and the county notes that it can be amended.
- Where
- The Court's agendas from August 2025 onward name the Charles J. Murray Courtroom, Tom Vandergriff Civil Courts Building, 100 N. Calhoun Street, 2nd Floor, Fort Worth, TX 76196. The county website still lists the Tarrant County Administration Building, 100 E. Weatherford Street, Suite 502A. Check the posted agenda for the meeting you plan to attend.
- Remote
- Meetings are streamed on the county's YouTube channel, and past meetings are posted there. Speaking is in person.
- Public comment
- Residents may address the Court during the Public Comments section of the agenda.
- Written comment
- The Court's agendas ask for a public participation form, submitted to the County Administrator's Office by 5:00 p.m. on the day before the meeting, either through the link on the Court's agenda page or on paper at that office. Forms are not accepted before the agenda is posted.
Two archives hold this Court's record. Meetings from 2008 to 1 October 2025 are in the county's own agenda portal, which carries the agenda, the minutes and a video link for each one. Meetings after that date are with a new vendor, reached through the county's agenda page. The minutes are worth knowing about: each item appears with its Court Order number, the commissioner who moved it, the commissioner who seconded it and the vote, so one document tells you what happened.
